STEVEN GUTOSKI SR.
(1951 - 2009)

Steven Gutoski Sr., age 58, of 1127 Hazel St., Cleveland, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Steven was born March 14, 1951, in Sheboygan to Clarence and June (Hayden) Gutoski. Steve attended St. Peter and Immaculate Conception Catholic School and then graduated from South High School in 1969. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1971-1974. Steven was united in marriage to the former Ann Koss on April 25, 1981, in Kewaunee. When Steve returned from the Air Force, he worked at Hayssen for five years and then at Kohler for more than 30 years until his time of illness in June of 2009. Steven was a very quiet man who loved his family, enjoyed all sports, especially deer hunting. He was disappointed that he didn't get to go hunting with his son, Steven Jr. this year. Steve enjoyed watching and listening to the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers games. He also enjoyed running until he couldn't, not knowing what it was, he just kept on going.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Ann; children: Steven Gutoski Jr. and his special friend Sarah; Stacey Gutoski and her special friend Brad; sisters: Debbie (Mike) Sachse, Sandy (Ron) Schultz; brothers: Tom (Lisa) Gutoski, Craig Gutoski; his father Clarence Gutoski; father-in-law Edward Koss; maternal grandmother Daisy L. Lewandoski; sisters-in-law: Kim Koss and Jill (Todd) Groth; and by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Steve was also survived by his dogs, Tyson and Remmy. He was preceded in death by his mother June (Hayden) Gutoski, an infant brother John and his mother-in-law Lois Koss.

Family and friends may call at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 21st and Geele, Sheboygan, on Saturday from 9 to 12 noon.
