Randall Wayne Miller, 56, of Scottsville, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at his residence.

Born on November 26, 1952 in Stuttgart, Germany, he was the son of the late Harold and Beryl Russell Miller.

He served with the United States Army; was a graduate of Temple University; attended the St. George's Catholic Church in Scottsville where he was a member of the Knight's of Columbus, being a Grand Knight of Council #3670 for seven terms and a former District Deputy; and was a member of the Central Virginia Parrot Head Club.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ann L. Miller; a daughter, Jennifer Mesich and her husband Patrick of Martinsburg, WV; two sons, David Miller of Scottsville and Steven Miller of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Katherine and Josephine Mesich; a sister, Renee Baclaski and her husband Butch of Hesperia, CA; three brothers, Richard Miller and his wife Leah of New Castle, DE, Rodney Miller and his wife Dawn of High Springs, FL, and Roger Miller and his wife Judy of New Castle, DE; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass was held on Saturday November 14, 2009 in the Holy Comforter Catholic Church with Father Dennis McAuliffe officiating. The Knights of Columbus lead the Rosary at 10:30 am, immediately preceding the service. Interment, with military honors, followed in the St. George's Catholic Church Cemetery, in Scottsville, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
