Aged Resident Dies
Mrs. Anna B. Thompson, 85, widow of Cyrus Thompson, died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. H. A. Larison, in Creek st., Friday morning at 4 o'clock after an illness of nearly four years. Infirmities of old age were the cause of death. Mrs. Thompson was born in Virginia October 14, 1834. She lived the early part of her life at Deersville, Ohio, until about 10 years ago when she came to Uhrichsville to make her home with Mrs. Larison. She was united in marriage to Cyrus Thompson in 1900. To this union one son was born, William Curtis, who was killed about 14 years ago while at work at the Robison coal mines. Mrs. Thompson is survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is an aunt of Mrs. James Brann and Earl Capper of this city. She was a member of the Deersville M. E. Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Deersville M. E. church. Burial at Deersville.

(William Curtis was not the son of Cyrus Thompson. William was the son of Jeremiah Moore. We do not know why Jeremiah, son of Anna & Jeremiah, was adopted by the Curtis family.)
