Virginia “Ginny” M. Webber, 60, of New Holstein, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000 at her home after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on July 6, 1939 in Fond du lac, the daughter of Mildred Enders Helz and the late Arthur Helz.
On Aug. 16, 1958, she married Al Webber at St. Cloud Catholic Church. She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1957.
Ginny was employed for about 18 years at the high school in the food service program.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Food Services Organization. Ginny loved camping, fishing and being up North. She previously shot trap in the Women’s League at the Outdoors Inc.
Ginny is survived by her husband, Al, of New Holstein; two sons, Jeff (Ann) of New Holstein and Tim (Renee) of Chilton; three granddaughters, Regina, Brooke and Kristin; two grandsons, Matt and Jake; her mother, Mildred Helz of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Elizabeth Buzan of California, Grace (Dennis) Depies and Jane Jeffrey, both of Albuquerque, NM; and her mother-in-law, Adele Webber of New Holstein.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; one infant daughter and her father, Arthur Helz.
Services were held at Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein. The Rev. James Werner officiated. Cremation followed with burial in the urn in the New Holstein Cemetery.
