Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lamar Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Broadway officiating, assisted by the Rev. C. T. Smith.
Burial was in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Gay's Funeral home of Delhi.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lizzie Mixon; five sons, Milton, Oak Grove, Willie, Shreveport, Hubert and Floyd, both of Monroe, R., Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Ora Lincoln, Shreveport; two stepsons, Muriel Humphries, Springhill and Willard of Crowville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bessie Foster, Kenner, Mrs. Ruby Adkins, Crowville; and a number of grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Wesley Goodman, John Ezell, Carl Ashley, Hardy Walker and Herman Southern.
