Henry P. Schwinn, 80, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at Morningside Health Center in Sheboygan.
He was born in the Town of Herman on April 29, 1928, the son of the late Paul and Mary (Scheidt) Schwinn.
Henry served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army.
After his honorable discharge, he married LaVerne Kleckner Grott in 1953.
On November 10, 1979, Henry was united in marriage to Lorraine Oehlrich.
Surviving Henry is his loving wife, Lorraine; a daughter, Deborah (John) Backhaus of Manitowoc; a son-in-law, Paul Kanugh of DePere; stepchildren, Sandy (Larry) Duzeski and Linda (Peter) Wilke, both of Manitowoc; Earl (Nancy) Oehldrich and Kay (Fritz) Bitter, both of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn Wagner; and a brother, Paul E. Schwinn, both of Cleveland.
In addition to his parents, Henry was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Kanugh, his sister, Sr. Roseann Schwinn, a brother, Marcellus Schwinn, a brother-in-law, Robert Wagner, and a great-granddaughter Marcelena Renteria.
Entombment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
