Irene E. Fiedler died on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at Countryside Manor East, of Sheboygan.
Irene was born on Aug. 9, 1920, the daughter of the late Norbert and Malitta Kress Leonhard.
Irene married Roland Fiedler on Dec. 28, 1946, at the St. Wendel Catholic Church parsonage. Survivors include her son, Thomas Fiedler and his wife Lynn (Baumann) of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Patrick Fiedler (Nikki) of Cleveland, Vickie (Victor) Frauenfeld of Cleveland, and Jodie (Dean) Arnsmeier of Sheboygan; two great-granddaughters, Nicole and Samantha Frauenfeld of Cleveland; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by three sisters, a brother, and a sister-in-law, Marcella Thieleke and Margaret Meinnert of Sheboygan, Helen Ziarnik of Manitowoc, Arvin (Renate) Leonhard of Wadley, Georgia, and Bernice Leonhard of Sheboygan.
Preceding her in death, her husband Roland, two sisters, two brothers, and four brothers-in-law.
