HANNAH BROWN DIES SEPTEMBER 25TH

Was born in Reade Township. Was Daughter Of The Late James And Elizabeth Douglass Glasgow.

Mrs. Brown, widow of the late L. H. [James] Brown, died Thursday evening September 25th, at 10 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. M. Dotts, at 973 Martin Street, Johnstown, Pa. Deceased was born in Reade Township on October 2, 1850, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Douglass Glasgow. Surviving are one son, V. W. Brown, of Coalport, and one daughter, Mrs. L. M. Dotts, of Johnstown. The following brothers and sisters also survives, Mrs. Sarah Gates, James Glasgow, and John G T. Glasgow, all of Glasgow, Pa., Mrs. Caroline Irwin of Blandburg, Mrs. John Frye of Punxsutawney, and Mrs. Jacob Frye of Williamsport, Pa. Three granddaughters, Mrs. George Beers of Coalport, Mabel and Twila Dotts of Johnstown, five grandsons, James Brown of Williamsport, Leroy Brown of Altoona, Orin Brown of Huntingdon, Milford and Lester Dotts of Johnstown and seven great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dotts in Johnstown, with Rev. J. A. H. McLean, pastor of the Coalport Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment was made in the family plot at Glasgow.
