Joyce (Butcher) Zimmer, 63, of Rio Rancho, N.M., formerly of Holstein, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, in Rio Rancho following a brief illness.
Joyce was born to Clement and Christine Butcher and raised on the family farm in rural Holstein. She graduated from Holstein High School in 1963 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. She worked in the health care field for many years.
She enjoyed collecting and refinishing antiques and collectibles.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Jo; son, Philip (Carla); six grandchildren; her longtime friend, Dan Westmark; other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Christine; and her husband, Ron
