Connie L. Justus, 69, of Sheboygan, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born December 10, 1951, in Cleveland to the late Elmer Louis Sr. and Lorraine (Hermann) Zill. Connie graduated from North High School in Sheboygan with the Class of 1970.
On July 2, 1976, she was united in marriage to Robert Justus Sr. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. Together they raised six children: Lori (Jimmy Sr.) Voigt, Shantell Randall, Robin Justus, Tanya (Andrew Leist) Hernandez, April Justus, and Robert Justus Jr. Robert Sr. preceded her in death on April 22, 2001.
Connie had a strong faith and was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She loved working with plastic canvas to create beautiful coaster and Christmas ornaments for her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and will be remembered for her famous potato salad and excellent stir fry. She also enjoyed doing word searches and was active in the Eagles Club.
Connie is further survived by her grandchildren; Bradly De Broux, Melody (Jani) Ilola, Elijah (Jasmine Herzog) Justus, Walker Randall, Cesar Hernandez Jr., Riley Randall, Xavier Hernandez, and Liliana Hernandez, her great-grandson Jeremiah Justus, sister Charlotte Nieland and brother Ricky (Sandy) Zill, and faithful furry companion Chewy. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Elmer Louis Zill Sr, mother Lorraine Eigenberger, stepfather Earl Eigenberger, husband, son Robert Justus Jr., daughter Robin Justus, and brother Elmer Zill.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 4:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Pastor Alan Kubow officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Saxon Cemetery in Cleveland. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Connie's name.
