James "Jim" E. Jost, age 73, of Sheboygan and formerly of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Jim was born on July 19, 1948, to Edward and Lucile (Wernecke) Jost in Manitowoc, WI. He grew up and spent much of his life in Cleveland. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1966.

Jim was always up to something, and his antics kept his family on their toes. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Jim is survived by his sister, Karen (James) Gutknecht; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lucille; sister, Doris (Edward) Duellman; brother, Richard (Mary Ann) Jost; and nephew, Scott Gutknecht.

A Funeral Service will be held for Jim at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, WI (2132 N 27th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081), with Pastor Daniel Voigt officiating. A public visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of Jim's service.

Interment will follow at Johannes Cemetery in Cleveland, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jim's name.
