Ronnie Juliann Dunlap, age 54, of Bedford, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in LaGrange, Kentucky. Born January 28, 1967 in Carrollton, Kentucky, he was the son of Dow Vernon Dunlap and Marilyn Lou Dunlap.

Mr. Dunlap was a 1985 graduate of Trimble County High School and received his electrician certification/licensure through Independent Electrical Contractors Association of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. He since has worked as an electrician at Comstock Electric and most recently at Delta Electric. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 369 of Louisville, KY.

A lifelong lover of bluegrass and country music, he played guitar and nurtured a love/hate relationship with his fiddle. As a musician, he was a founding and long-time member of the band Young Country. His passions also included farming and being a shadetree mechanic thanks to the power of YouTube. Mr. Dunlap enjoyed all thing outdoors – fishing, hunting, and traveling.

He was well known, to those closest to him, for his obsession with ice cream – most often of the butter pecan variety. He was a member of North Madison Christian Church in Madison, Indiana and an attendee of Mount Tabor in Bedford.

Survivors include Teresa Liter-Dunlap, his wife; two daughters: Juliann Dunlap of Bend, Oregon and Rachel Dunlap of Bedford, KY; his mother of Bedford; one brother, Richey Dunlap of Milton, Kentucky; and one sister, Dee Bromwell of Bedford
Mr. Dunlap was preceded in death by his father, Dow Dunlap in June of 2018, as well as several other family members.

Pastor Robby King and Reverend Wayne Mahoney will conduct the funeral services.

The family welcomes charitable donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Kentucky Chapter and encourages you to become an organ donor.
