Herbert Hintz,89, formerly of 1916 S. 22nd St. and a resident of Heritage Nursing Center for two years, died Thursday, November 9, 1989.
Herbert was born on March 31, 1900, in Cleveland, Wl., a son of the late Gustav and Ida Dassler Hintz. Herbert attended Cleveland and Manitowoc area schools.
On November 3, 1923, Herbert was united in marriage to Meta Weber at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Meta died on October 29, 1974. Herbert operated Hintz Moving and Storage Company, retiring in 1974.
Survivors include his son, Robert (Lue) Hintz of Spring Valley, CA., a daughter, Mrs. La Verne (Norman) Timbs of Los Osos, CA., three grand children, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Lenore (William) Neal, Lake San Marcos, Ca., and Mrs. Clara (Oscar) Nelson, San Jose, CA., Herbert was preceded in death by one sister and one granddaughter.
Funeral services for Herbert will be held on Monday, November 13, 1989, at 2:00 P.M. at Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan Kubow, Associate Pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Garden Terrace Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 1 :00 P.M. until time of services. A memorial has been established in Herbert s name.
