Barbara Jean Kinman, 75, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her home in Springerville. She was born October 16, 1945 in Phoenix, the daughter of Bert Collins Criswell and Arma Doreen Allen.

Barbara grew up in Phoenix with a love for horses. She was involved in the Black Canyon Saddle Club, gymkhana and rodeos.

She left the valley in Phoenix and moved to the White Mountains in 1981 with her beloved husband of 41 years. She was a proud owner of a drapery and print shop in Springerville. From her love of cars she started the Chrome in the Dome car show in Springerville and Eagar; "Sweet Pea" being her favorite 1956 VW.

Barbara loved to fish with her favorite partner, her husband, Wayne and her favorite reel, a Miller Lite can. She would work on jigsaw puzzles for hours and would always find a board game to play with whoever would show up at the door.

She will be loved and missed by many.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Wayne Kinman, sons, Jerry Staggs, Brian Staggs, Scott Kinman, daughters, Roberta Foss, Carey Slade, sisters, Susan Daugherty, LaVaya Criswell, Donna Dankmeyer, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
