Obituary of Kathleen Boone Markham
ELGIN – A memorial service for Kathleen Boone Markham, 85, will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 3pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Humane Society.

Mrs. Markham passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020. Born in Blaney, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Annie Mae Boone. Kathleen enjoyed crocheting, crafts and cruising with her family.

Surviving is her daughter, Jackie Blair (Kenny); grandchildren, Christopher Blair (Patricia) and Kimberly Bridges (James); great-granddaughters, Zoey Blair and Layla Bridges; sister, Eloise Ross; nephew, Erwin Ross (Kristy); great nieces and nephews, Alex Ross, Laurel Ross, and Benjamin Ross; niece-in-law, Kellie Ross. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon W. Markham; and nephews, Randy Ross and Eric Ross.
