Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 28th at Lamb’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Shoemaker officiating. CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and the health and well being of others. Pallbearers will be Chip Fulghum, Bill Carmichael, Craig Lamb, Tildon Smith, and Larry Purvis.
Mrs. Leonhard was born February 26, 1931, in Mannheim, Germany, to the late A. Hartman and Josephine Steinmayr Hartman.
Her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. She was a very successful business manager for several restaurants over the years and retired as business manager for Coleman Lake Restaurant. Mrs. Leonhard never met a stranger, and over the years made many lasting friendships with those she served that traveled from miles around. They loved her and she loved them. She was a member of the Lamb’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband Arvin Leonhard; sister, Maria Petermueller; and granddaughter, Mikki Fulghum Flurnoy.
Survivors Include a daughter, Carol Lamb (Tommy) of Midville; grandson, Franklin Lamb (Beth) of Statesboro; great-grandchildren, Whitney Smedley (Chad), Megan Arguetta (Tony), Kate Lamb, and Christopher Lamb. great-great-grandchildren, Hayden Smedley, Magnolia Smedley, Jolie Ann Smedley, Everleigh Rowyn Arguetta; nieces, nephews and extended family.
