On July 24, 1959 as William L. Hemry, he married Caroline Bone at Perry County, Ohio.
They were the parents of nine children.

Two Deaths in Morgan County . . .
McConnelsville, Ohio, December 2 -- William L Hemry, 70, died Tuesday morning, December 1, at his country home near Triadelphia. Death was due to a complication of ailments incident to advanced age. He is survived by a wife, three sons and four daughters. One brother, J.F. Hemry, of Springfield, Ohio, also survives him. The funeral services will be held at the Deerfield Church near Triadelphia on Thursday morning at 10:30.
