Edward Needles Bentley died yesterday at his home, Cloverly, at Sandy Spring, Md., in his fifty-fifth year. He was a son of the late Richard T. Bentley, of Sandy Spring, and a grandson of the late John Needles, of Baltimore.

Mr. Edward N. Needles, aged 55 years, died at his home, at Sandy Spring, this county, last Tuesday morning after a long illness of heart trouble. For a number of years he was engaged in the general merchandise business at Highland, Howard county, but his last enterprise was in the same business in Ashton, this county, where he was associated with the firm of Bond & Bentley. This firm was dissolved a year or so ago, Mr. Bentley being compelled to retire on account of ill health. He was son of the late Richard T. Bentley, of Sandy Spring, and a grandson of the late John Needles, of Baltimore. Surviving him are his widow and one daughter, Mrs. F. Pole Robison. Richard T. Bentley, of the Jordan-Stabler Company, Baltimore, is a brother.
