HOLYOKE - Ronald M. Godfrey, age 70, of Holyoke died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Holyoke Health Care Center. He was born in Ludlow, son of the late Archie and Esther (Maynard) Godfrey and was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School. Ron served in the United States Coast Guard from 1959 to 1963 and was a longtime painter for General Dynamics in Groton, CT. He is survived by two sons; a brother, one sister, and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Virginia Roughgarden.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
