GILLESPIE - Mrs. Phoebe Goodnight, 78, 113 W. elm, died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield. She had been a patient there for 15 days.
Her husband, Charles, passed away in 1951 [sic].
She is survived by a son, Clarence, of West Lafayette, Ind. and two grandchildren.
The body was at the Union Funeral Home in Gillespie and was taken to the Methodist church for services.
Burial was in Mayfield Memorial Park near Carlinville.
