Murriel Geraldine Streator, age 87, of Plumwood, died peacefully Thursday evening, June 21, 2007, Memorial Hospital of Union County, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 9, 1919, in Madison County. She retired from Ranco, Plain City after 25 years of service. Member of the Plumwood United Methodist Church. Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her family and her Church family. She was a loving and caring person, to anyone in need. Her hobby of quilting, produced many lap robes and quilts for her family and friends in the nursing home. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Helen (Lucas) Dillion, husband Charles "Ralph" Streator – 1990, son Joseph "Joe" Streator – 1998, sisters Marjorie Binkley, Joy Cole, brothers Billie, Jimmie, David. Survived by children, Nancy (Robert) Schnees of Plain City, Charles Raymond Streator of Plumwood; daughters-in-law, Donna (Jim) Peckham of Plain City, Marti Streator of Urbana; 7 grandchildren, Robert Schnees, Jr. of Plain City, Josue (Brett) Turvy of Plumwood, David Schnees of Raymond, Tom Schnees of London, Brent Streator of Urbana, Josh Streator of Marysville and Stacy (Chris) Coffee of Mt. Sterling; 6 great-grandchildren, Katie Turvy and Richard Turvy of Plumwood, Jarrod Schnees and Jonathan Schnees of London, Trenton Coffee and Tara Coffee of Mt. Sterling; sister, Phyllis Dillion of London; brother, John "Jack" (Maxine) Dillion of Upper Arlington; numerous nieces, nephews and extended church family. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (St. Rt. 161 W), Plain City.
