Sheboygan - Edward Norman Duellman entered the arms of his Lord and was reunited with the love of his life, Doris, on January 5, 2019, at the age of 86. He was born on April 18, 1932, in Alma, Wisconsin, to the late Walter and Edna Duellman. On March 2, 1957, he married Doris Mae Jost.
Edward resided in Cleveland, Wisconsin, for 59 years until he moved to Sheboygan. Wisconsin, to live with his daughter and her family. Because of deteriorating health, he moved to Countryside Manor during the final months of his life.
Edward was the devoted and beloved father of Debra (Ted) Wehrman and Dawn (David) Duellman-Arndt. His grandchildren Zachary, Karina, Jacob, and Matthew will always remember the man who made them laugh and loved them with all his heart. Edward always put his family first. Whenever his daughters had a dream, he would help and encourage them to make it a reality. He spent endless hours renovating a cottage in northern Wisconsin, making it a place for the family to gather during the summer months. Edward loved to tinker with things, literally making something out of nothing. He was a master at repurposing.
Edward served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After serving his country, Edward was employed at Kohler Company as a modeler in the pottery department until his retirement. He was a devoted Christian and a member of St. John-St Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland, Wisconsin, where he served in many roles for a number of years.
Edward is survived by his children, grandchildren, and sister Janice Wagner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; his parents, Walter and Edna Duellman; his brothers, Jerome, Charlie, Louie, James, and Eugene; and sister, Arlene Miller.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 2:00 PM at St. John-St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland, Wisconsin, with Pastor Steven Wall officiating. A Christian burial will follow the service at St. Johannes Cemetery in Cleveland, Wisconsin.
