She was born September 17, 1936 near Havensville, the daughter of James and Vetra Sweet Wilson. She graduated from Corning High School in 1955.
JoeAnn worked at the Trails Café in Holton for many years and as a nurses aide at Golden Acres Nursing Home in Onaga for twelve years. She also worked at C.R. Industries in Seneca for seventeen years.
She married Elmer John Farley on January 22, 1960 at Cottonwood Falls. He died December 11, 1985.
JoeAnn was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters-in-law, Lana Sue Farley, Cora Christine Farley and Barbara Hash, a granddaughter, Jerri Ronnebaum, a great grandson, Brady Strunk and a sister, Dorothy Belle Durham...
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga. Burial will follow in the Corning Cemetery. JoeAnn will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home where family and friends will meet from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the First Baptist Church in Onaga, or Onaga Health and Rehabilitation, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
