She Attended Immaculate Conception Academy in Dubuque, Iowa, And Iowa State University In Ames, Iowa, where She Received A Degree In Home Economics And Nutrition. She Had A Two-Year Internship As A Dietician At Cook County Hospital In Chicago. She Was Assistant Director Of Food Service With The Orleans Parish School Board. She Was A Member Of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, The Altar Society At Jesuit Church, The American Dietetic Association, The Louisiana Dietetic Association, The New Orleans Dietetic Association, The American School Food Service Association, A Charter Member Of Nutrition Today, And The New Orleans Home Economics Club, Where She Was A Former President. She Was A Volunteer For The Cabildo And The New
Orleans Museum Of Art. She Was A Parishioner Of Most Holy Name Of Jesus Catholic Church.

She Is Survived By Her Husband, Jacobus C.W. Aafjes; Two Brothers, Edward And Clarence Blazek; And A Sister, Mary Blazek. A Private Mass Will Be Said. House Of Bultman Is In Charge Of Arrangements.
