Wilbert P. “Skinner” Adams, 93, a resident of Willowdale Nursing and Rehab Center, New Holstein, formerly of rural Elkhart Lake, died Sunday evening, June 18, 2017. He was born on March 27, 1924 in the Town of Rhine, son of the late Peter & Johanna (Rietbrock) Adams. He attended Rhine Center School. Wilbert work at Polar Ware, Sheboygan for 15 years and retired from Kohler Company after 15 years. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country from 1945-1947. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, traveling and taking care of his rabbits. Survivors include nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Wilbert will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th. St., Kiel) with Joe Zenk, Pastoral Leader at SS Peter & Paul officiating. Burial will take place in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of service.
