Sarah was married twice her first marriage in 1816 was to George Bolsover. The marriage was initially believed to have produced 6 known children those being:-

Harriet Bolsover (Buxton) born about 1819
William Lowther Bolsover aka Mundy born 1824
John Bolsover aka Mundy born 1828
Mary Bolsover born about 1831
Margaret Bolsover aka Mundy (Jennison) born 1832
Stephen Bolsover aka Mundy born 1834
It has now been revealed thanks to DNA testing that at least one child was fathered by William Mundy.

In 1838 Sarah's husband George Bolsover was tried and acquitted in relation to a charge of Manslaughter after the trial he remained in Liverpool for a time before eventually returning to Heaton Norris. By 1841 Sarah had left her husband George and taken up with William Mundy, changing the surnames of her children to Mundy in order to make it look as though they were the offspring of William and not George (In time it may come to light that William & Sarah had more than one child ). Sarah and William eventually married in 1856 two years after the death of George Bolsover.

Unfortunately although the church building still stands is has been de-consecrated and turned into luxury apartments. Almost all of the grave stones have been removed from the churchyard and the land is now private.
