"Mrs. Miriam Leavy Funeral Is Today-Mrs. Miriam C. Leavy, 37, of 315 Seaton place northeast, who died of pneumonia Wednesday, will be buried this afternoon in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Funeral services will be held at the W.W. Chambers Co.'s southeast funeral home at 2 p.m. A neice of the late John Philip Sousa, Mrs. Leavy was an employe in the General Accounting Office. She died at George Washington Hospital after an illness of seven weeks. She is survived by her husband, Lester L. Leavy, clerk in the Treasury Department; her mother, Mrs. Candace Sousa; a sister, Mrs. Lael Sanders, and a brother, Allen Sousa-all of Washington."
