Hildegard Kleckner
Mrs. Hildegard Kleckner, 83, of 1176 Franklin Dr., Cleveland, died Saturday, at the Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
The former Hildegard Stein was born September 14, 1904 in the Town of Meeme, a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Hoffmann Stein. She married Mathias Kleckner at St. Fedelis Church, Osman, June 28, 1927. He preceded her in death January 30, 1986.
Mrs. Kleckner is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mike (LaVerne) Griepentrog, of Manitowoc and Miss Jo Anne Kleckner, of Cleveland; two sons, John (Beverly) and Edward (Marlene) both of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Alma) Leider and Mrs. Katherine Miller, both of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by a son and five brothers.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at ST. WENDEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, Cleveland by the pastor, Rev. Earl Brouchoud. Burial will take place in St. Johannes Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at The HABERMANN FUNERAL HOME, 805 N. 6th St., Tuesday until the time of services. A parish vigil will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. this evening.
