Ann Marie Schlee, a 39-year Spokane resident, died 18 Aug 1999. She was born 29 Oct 1910 in Chicago, the eldest of 8 children of William and Mary (Galovicz) Imberger, from Czechoslovakia.
In 1936 she married Henry Schlee. They moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1955 and lived there for five years before moving to Spokane.
Mrs Schlee and her husband were co-owners and operators of Lutz Bakery in Spokane. They retired in 1968. Her husband died in 1998.
She was a member of St Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene, and St Aloysius Catholic Church and Altar Society in Spokane. She was involved with the Catholic Daughters and was a member of the German American Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Balbi of Athol, Idaho; and a brother, Joseph Imberger of Pembrook Pines, Fla. She was preceded in death by siblings Agnes, William, Mary, Amelia, Andrew and Elizabeth Imberger.
