In the 1870 census a Julia A Fry age 14 (domestic servant) was listed in the home of George and Nancy Logan along with their son James M. Logan age 13. My hypothesis is that Julia and James had an out of wedlock child, Neal Logan b 14 Sep 1879, after Julia married Isaac Hampton Head on 15 Jul 1878.
In the 1880 census Isaac and Julia have a 2 year old listed as "Henry Head" who I believe was actually Neal Logan. There are some discrepancies in the age given for Julia, so there is also the possibility that there were two different Julia Fry's
