PIONEER WOMAN OF CENTERVILLE DIES IN MICHIGAN
News has been received at Centerville of the death at Menominee, Mich., of Mrs. Marie Fredericka Gauch, former resident and a pioneer of Manitowoc county who passed away at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Gauch’s body will be brought to Centerville this evening and funeral services will be held Sunday, Rev. Springling officiating.
Mrs. Gauch was 91 years of age, having been born January 20, 1837 at Arnsee, Saxony. She was the widow of Jacob Gauch and up to recent years had made her home at Centerville.
One daughter, Mrs. H. Dieters with whom she made her home, survives.
