Mrs. Nancy Sue Farrington Carter, 80, a resident of Thomasville passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
Nancy was a lifelong resident of Davidson County, born June 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Willie Wade Farrington and Thelma Simpson Farrington. She was retired from Carolina Underwear and was a member of Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church.
Nancy was married to Theodore Wayne Carter who preceded her in death September 10, 2006.
Surviving is her brother, Duck Farrington of Salisbury, NC; her sister, Pat Bray and husband Ronnie of Emerald Isle, NC; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Henry King officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
