Jessie Ruth Faust "Boots" Macpherson, born May 18, 1928 in Shelby County, AL, to Jesse N. and Mattie Lee Faust, left this life May 5, 2015 to join her Heavenly Father, in the joyful expectation of reuniting with her loving husband John.Jessie was a long time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, and worked with her husband in the state food stamp program. She is predeceased by her brothers Herbert and John, and is survived by her niece Joni (Clyde) Hossman, nephew Craig Faust, and great-niece Lynsey Jones; John's son Steve (Connie) Macpherson and daughter Pam (Greg) Young; and grandchildren Beth, Stephen, and Robert (Jennifer) Young; close personal friend Wanda Beasley, and loving caregivers at Elmcroft and Crowne.Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 8, from Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery with Greg Young officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 10 AM until service time. Pall bearers will be Greg, Stephen, and Robert Young, Clyde Hossman, Craig Faust, and Jeremy Helms; honorary bearer Kevin Beasley.
