Mrs. Bertha M. Vogel, 83, a former Cleveland resident, died unexpectedly at Sunny Ridge Tuesday afternoon where she had been living the past three years.

Born October 21, 1883, in the Town of Mosel, she was a daughter of the late Gottwerth and Elizabeth Hetzel Sommer. On Nov. 19, 1904, she was married to Robert Vogel.
The couple resided in Cleveland where Mr. Vogel was a carpenter. He died May 2, 1956.

Mrs. Vogel was a member of Ss. John and Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland, and a charter member of its ladies Aid Society.

Survivors include three sons, Norbert, Arvin and Milton, all of Sheboygan; one daughter, Mrs. John (Verna) Kraemer of Sheboygan; one brother, Adolph of the Town of Mosel; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. One sister and eight brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Ss. John and Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland, the Rev. Jerald Plitzuweit, vacancy pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Cleveland.

Friends may call at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel from 3 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday and at the church from noon until hour of services.
