Helen A. Busse, 91, former village of Cleveland resident, went home to her Lord, Monday, April 25, 2011, at Pine Haven Christian Home, in Sheboygan Falls, WI.

Born, March 16, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Emma Leiteritz Bruckschen.

She attended Maple Leaf School in Town Centerville.

On August 25,1945, Helen was united in marriage to Gilbert W.L. Busse, at St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. The couple resided on the Bruckschen homestead, where they engaged in dairy farming and a milk route for 30 years, retiring in 1975. Mr. Busse passed away February 28, 1988. Helen moved to the village of Cleveland, October 2, 1988, so she could be closer to her church. She was a member of St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland and served as a church organist for 60 years. Helen was also a member of the church choir for many years. In addition to her love of music, Helen's interests included, gardening, playing cards and fellowship with family and friends.

Helen is survived by two sisters-in-law, Laverne Bruckschen and Marcella Busse; one brother-in-law, Ambrose Wolhersheim and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are one sister, Esther Wolhersheim; two brothers and a sister–in-law, William Bruckschen and Clarence and Virginia Bruckschen; two brothers-in-law, Levern Busse and Edwin Busse; and one sister-in-law, Evangeline (Harold) Bruckschen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30,2011, at St John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland. Pastor David Endorf will officiate. Burial will follow at St Johannes Cemetery in Cleveland.
