John Clark Hennessey of Alton, Missouri died in his sleep on June 22, 2014. He was 78 years old, born on the 4th of July in 1935 in Greenfield, MA. He graduated from Jordan High School in Long Beach, CA in 1953. He served in the USAF from 1957-1961 and graduated an honor student from USAF Electronics School at Scott AFB in IL. He also built a radio station while serving overseas in the Air Force and worked there in his spare time as a d.j. He attended technical schools while working at IBM, Sperry-Rand, and Pratt and Whitney. At IBM he was a test engineer and lead technician. He was a field engineer for Pratt and Whitney and also worked as a supervisor for Sperry-Rand UMAC division. He is survived by a son, three brothers and a sister. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Effie Hennessey.
