"A pretty little wedding occurred at the office of Justice McBride yesterday afternoon. Frank Knickerbocker, of Fairfield, and Anna Wolf, of Brady Center, being the contracting parties. John T McCurdy and Will Gallager were the witnesses. After the judge had gone through his usual solemn ceremony he said 'Usually I allow the witnesses to kiss the bride but in this case I think I shall withhold that favor.' Mr Gallager was very much crest fallen at this he said he had never been 'so misused before in his life.' "
