Elise Beighley Blandford, 92, formerly of Vandergrift, died Friday, May 30, 2014, in Rosebrook Assisted Living, Sarver. Born May 14, 1922, in Vandergrift, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Beatrice Moore Hebert. Elise was a lifelong member of First United Church of Christ in Vandergrift. Survivors include her son, Alfred (Patricia) Beighley; granddaughter, Holly (Erick) Maks; two great-granddaughters, Madeline and Chloe Maks; stepdaughter, Sharon (Dave) Milliron; stepson, Ronald (Sue) Blandford; stepgrandchildren, Kim (Scott) Conway, Kelly (Rober) Reott and Ronald (Mellisa) Blandford and Kristen Defelice; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Jeffrey Garbowsky, Brayden Reott, Zackary Conway, Brittnay Conway, Trey Blandford, Madeline Blandford and Taylor Dukes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clair "Pete" Beighley; and her second husband, Clairance Blandford. At the request of the family, a private family visitation and funeral service was held in the DUNMIRE-KERR and ROWE FUNERAL HOME INC., 244 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift.
