DIED.
On Friday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock, Dec. 31, 1920, the Death Angel came into the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Pierce of Bear Creek, La., and took away the sweet little baby girl, Ruie. Little Ruie was playing out in the yard one afternoon when she caught afire. As she was burned very deep, she was seriously ill from the time of the accident until the end came which was two weeks later. Ruie was three years and six months old. She was a very bright and attractive little girl, having ways much like a grown up person. All that knew her loved her and will miss her much.
The remains were carried to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Goldonna and interment took place later.
Little Ruie leaves her parents, three little brothers, Wilmer, Lloyd and Floyd and a number of relatives and friends to grieve for her.
The entire community extends to the family their deepest sympathy.
