Early Life: Albert was born on May 21, 1936, a son of Albert Marvin Rowley Sr. and Lucy LaVern Prestwich Rowley in Orem, Utah, where he lived all of his life.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: On June 21, 1955, Albert married his high school sweetheart, Billie Lou Ericksen, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together, they have enjoyed 59 years of marriage. He enjoyed working with family and close friends at Intermountain Soft Water, where he worked throughout his life until retirement. Albert loved people, those who knew him knew they had a friend. He will be remembered for his wisdom and his love of serving others. Albert was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in every calling he was asked to do. Most of all, Albert loved his family. Albert Marvin Rowley Jr., of Orem, Utah, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 12, 2014, of cardiac arrest while traveling in Belgium. He was 77 years old.
Survived By: His wife, Billie Lou; two children: Robert Louis (Kathryne) Rowley and Sharlyn Rowley Adams; ten grandchildren: Rogan (Kim) Rowley, Tanya (Jared) Barrera, Kimberlee (Spencer) Pace, Shelly (Nathan) Ramsey, Stefenee (Brent) Mason, Mitch (Jeannene) Adams, Shane (Jena) Rowley, Stacee (Tyler) Dunaway, Linsey (Jon) Lanman, Kristee Rowley; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one brother, Vern (Ann) Rowley; and two sisters: Deann (Wayne) Harris and Jeana (Ray) Holt.
