Wife of Sergeant Thomas W. Causey, Clerk for the Quartermaster Department; they were married in 1872 in Wisconsin. She died of puerpal peritonitis nine days after the birth of her daughter, Emilie, in February 1880. After her death, the baby was sent back to Mayville, North Dakota, to live with relatives - the baby died in May 1881.
