Trudy M. Dhein, age 74, of Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, December 29, 2013, at her residence, while watching the Green Bay Packers and surrounded by her loving family. Trudy was born October 22, 1939, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Julius and Marie (Steeber) Filliez. She attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. On November 18, 1961, she married Jerry Dhein at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Trudy worked for Carron Net Co. of Two Rivers in her younger days, and after raising her children, she went to Lakeshore Technical College and earned her degree in Secretarial Science. She then worked as a data processor for LTC in Cleveland for 10 years. Trudy truly loved getting together with her classmates of 1957 from Washington High, and cherished the time with her family - her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of her Catholic Faith which was very evident throughout her lifetime. Trudy was an avid Packer Fan; she loved to read; and enjoyed cooking large family dinners for special gatherings. She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her children & grandchildren: Neil and Casandra Dhein of Manitowoc, and their children: Claire and Theodore; Karice and Jeffrey Scharenbroch of Manitowoc, and their children: Daniel (Christy) Miller and their son, Owen, Dallas Miller, USN - Hawaii, and Jack Scharenbroch; Jayne and Mark Nagel of Manitowoc, and their children: Halle and Nicholas; Philip and Tammy Dhein of Cleveland, and their children: James and Joseph. She is further survived by seven siblings: Ardis (Manuel) Rosado, Manitowoc, Sharlene Kasper, Two Rivers, Karen (Arthur) Bangart, New Holstein, Juleen (Steven) Snyder, Manitowoc, Richard Filliez, Manitowoc, Charles Filliez, Mishicot, and Lee (Debbie) Filliez, Manitowoc; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two infant siblings; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Filliez; and a nephew, Troy Bangart.
