Henry was the son of Ephraim H. St. Louis and Mary Des Anges Manseau. Identified siblings were: Emélie, Joseph Ephaim François, Lumina Ellen, Olivine Maria, Maria Angeline, Rev. Phillip "Manus", Mary Zoe, Philomena, Dr. George Joseph, Marie Margatha "Maggie", Thomas J., and John Baptiste Joseph (R. Navarre).

Henry passed away at his sister's home in Antigo. He was survived by 8 of 15 children; George of Pullman, Washington; Edgar of Neopit, Jennie Morin of Big Falls, Minnesota; Noah and Abel of Hadley, and Mrs. William Close and Jean of Antigo.

Henry, a native of northern Canada, was a former resident of Minnesota At age 4 months he moved with his family to Kaukauna, Wisconsin. He met Mary Langloise in Green Bay, Wisconsin and soon married her. After several moves, Henry and his wife settled in Minnesota and raised their family.

Henry was interred in the Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
