Mrs. Otto Born, 70, of Cleveland, died Monday afternoon following a lingering illness.

The former Irene Dreger, she was born July 23, 1896, in the Town of Rockland, a daughter of August and Ida Krumm Dreger. She married Otto Born on Nov. 23, 1918, and the couple settled in the Town of Centerville. She was a member of St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church in Cleveland.

Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Steinpries, of Winneconne; a brother, Gerhardt Dreger, of Collins, three sisters, Mrs. Ferd (Lillie) Matzneck, Brillion, and Mrs. Ida Klusmeyer, and Mrs. Joe (Sinona) Basso, both of Manitowoc; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church in Cleveland. The Rev. Jerald Plitzeweit, vacancy pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Cleveland.

Friends may call at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel in Cleveland from 4 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
