Bettie Ann Lay, 78, of Burkburnett, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013.
The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Kirkham, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Bettie was born September 20, 1934 in Ryan, Oklahoma to the late Bessie C. Patterson Odom and Clarence H. Odom. She worked for Civil Service for many years, and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Burkburnett.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Joseph Lay of Burkburnett; her son, Howard Joseph "Joe" Lay and wife Denise of Arlington; her daughter, Rebecca Catherine "Cathy" Lay of Little Rock, Arkansas; a sister, Becky Kephart of Dallas; and her granddaughter, Brittany Lay of Arlington.
Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Jude Catholic Church.
