Mrs. Flynn was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of F.W. and Rose Purucker.
She was a life-long resident of Boardman and graduated from Boardman High School.
Martha attended both St. John's Episcopal Church and St. James Episcopal Church.
Surviving her is her brother, Norman Purucker of Boardman; nephew, John Purucker Jr. of Boardman; four nieces, Jennifer McNally of Boardman, Julia Kurtz of Columbiana, Judy Purucker of Boardman, and Jacqueline Jacobson of Poland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Atty. Michael Flynn; daughter, Lynda Lee Flynn; sister, Margaret Owens; and three brothers, Fredrick, R. Dale, and John C. Purucker.
A committal service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 5400 Market St. in Boardman, with Fr. Bradley Pace officiating.
