Funeral services for James Grant Roberts, 80, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Boma Baptist church with Edward Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Carr cemetery.
A retired farmer, Mr. Roberts died Monday night at the City hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Roberts was the son of the late Marion and Sarah Richardson Roberts. He was a native of Putnam County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, O. D. and John Roberts, Sliver Point; three daughters, Mrs. Etta Spiker, Sparta, Mrs. Velma Phillips; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Reeder and Mrs. Eletha Neighbors, Baxter.
